Seven Nation Army – Drum Sheet Music
The White Stripes is an American rock duo founded in 1997 by Jack White (vocals, guitar) and Meg White (drums). The band gained enormous popularity thanks to its raw sound and minimalist style. Their innovative approach to rock music made them one of the most influential groups in the early 21st century.
“Seven Nation Army” is probably the most recognizable song by The White Stripes, which debuted in 2003 on the album “Elephant”. The distinctive bass riff, which is actually played on the guitar, has become the anthem of stadiums and one of the most recognized melodies in the world. The drum parts in this track, although seemingly simple, are key to its energetic and hypnotic rhythm.
Good to know:
The title “Seven Nation Army” came about by accident. As a child, Jack White misheard the name “The Salvation Army” and began saying “Seven Nation Army.” This misinterpretation stuck with him long enough that he decided to use it as the title for one of his most iconic songs.
